Frequently
Asked Questions
Here you will find answers
to the most frequently asked questions about outdoor
billiard tables.
Q. How do I place an order?
A. Simply fill out and submit the Inquiry
Form and we’ll provide you with an exact
quote.
Q. Once I order my table,
how long before I get it?
A. Usually two to three weeks depending on the
season and the requirements of the table.
Q. What kind of warranty
do you offer?
A. Full 3-year warranty on manufactured parts
and materials.
Q. Can I set up my own
table?
A. The 1000 series, yes. It is extremely consumer
friendly with the help of a friend or two. It
weighs 400 pounds and is delivered to your door
in a single box. For the 2000 and 3000 series,
it’s a job for a professional, which we
can arrange for you at the time of purchase.
Q. How do I clean the
cloth parts of the table?
A. Our exclusive acrylic fabric is easy to clean.
Stains, mold and mildew, spills and everyday dirt
stay on the surface and do not penetrate the fibers
of the cloth. Plain water and a brush or sponge
will usually work, but you can also add liquid
chlorine (or use water from your pool), or a small
amount of soap. Scrub vigorously with a tile brush
and rinse thoroughly.
Q. How long will the various
parts of the table actually last?
A. This depends on treatment and use (commercial
vs. private use, etc.): the pockets last 7-10
years; the rails and fabric last 5-10 years. The
aluminum chassis could last a lifetime. The construction
of the table will allow it to be recovered, moved
and refurbished as needed providing years of enjoyment.
Q. Is there anything that
can harm the tables?
A. Yes. Fire and extreme heat, such as matches,
cigarettes, hot coals, vandalism, extreme harsh
treatment, “Acts of God” such as earthquakes,
etc.
Q. How do I move my pool
table?
A. That depends on the model. In many cases, we
recommend you use a certified pool table mechanic.
If you can’t find one, contact
us for assistance.
Q. How does the resin
bed compare to the slate? Which is better?
A. Slate is preferred by billiards devotees. The
composite resin, which is considerably lighter
(400 pounds), is a good choice for more casual
purposes, and for areas that can’t take
the weight of the slate tables (800 pounds). For
people who need portability, the lighter weight
enables the tables to be moved more easily.
Q. What are the dimensions
of a 7-foot table? 8-foot table?
A. Our tables are built to precise BCA (Billiards
Congress of America) standards. The 7-foot table
measures 50” X 90”. The 8-foot table
measures 55” X 99” outside dimensions.
The playing surface for a 7-foot table is 39”
X 78” and an 8-foot table is 44” X
88”.
Q. Can your all-weather
outdoor pool tables be used indoors?
A. Absolutely! Several designers have selected
our contemporary design for indoor use. We can
use a conventional woolen fabric to ensure that
even the most discriminating players will be happy.
Q. Are your pool tables
wheelchair accessible?
A. Yes.
